Full Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Uganda & Transfer to Kampala / Entebbe
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our professional safari guide warmly welcomes you. You then transfer to your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala for relaxation. Meanwhile, you receive a safari briefing and review the adventure ahead. If time allows, you enjoy a short city or lakeside walk.
Day 2 – Scenic Drive to Murchison Falls
After breakfast, you depart for Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest protected area. Along the way, you pass traditional villages and scenic countryside. After lunch en route, you continue to the park and head to the top of Murchison Falls. Consequently, you witness the Nile forcefully squeezing through a narrow gorge. You later check in at your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3 – Wildlife Viewing on Land and Water
You start the day with an early morning game drive on the northern bank of the Nile. During the drive, you spot elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, and various antelope species. Later, you return for lunch and rest briefly.
In the afternoon, you enjoy a boat cruise on the Nile towards the base of Murchison Falls. As a result, you see hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife at close range. You then return to the lodge for dinner.
Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, you drive southwest towards Kibale Forest National Park, famous for its primate diversity. The journey offers stunning views of tea plantations and crater lakes. Upon arrival, you check in at your lodge and relax. Later in the evening, you enjoy a guided nature walk or cultural interaction near the park.
Day 5 – Chimpanzee Encounters and Savannah Wildlife
After an early breakfast, you head to the forest headquarters for a briefing. You then begin chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest. During the trek, you may also see other primates and forest birds.
After lunch, you transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Along the way, you enjoy scenic views of the Rwenzori Mountains. You arrive in the evening and settle in for dinner and overnight.
Day 6 – Big Game and Boat Safari
You start the day with a morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains. Here, you search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, and Uganda kob. Afterward, you return to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, you take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. Consequently, you encounter one of Africa’s highest concentrations of hippos and water birds. You return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.
Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi & Gorilla Trekking / Departure
After breakfast, you travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to mountain gorillas. Upon arrival, you attend a gorilla trekking briefing and head into the forest with experienced guides. The trek rewards you with a life-changing encounter with a gorilla family.
After the trek, you enjoy lunch and later transfer to Entebbe for your departure flight. Thus, the safari ends with unforgettable memories of Uganda’s wildlife and primates.
